Not many people know this, but I used to host a radio show in California before picking up work as a recording engineer for an ad agency in Oregon. I recorded, edited, and mixed audio for radio and TV commercials. I always stayed with the mixing board, though, as I have never been a fan of my own voice—it always sounds weird to me.
